We accept credit card, Zelle, ACH, and wire transfer. Patients paying out of pocket can also finance surgery through PatientFi. For gender-affirming surgery, yes. Dr. Ives is in-network with Blue Shield of California and Anthem Blue Cross, and out-of-state plans that use the Blue Shield network for care in California are billed in-network. Other medically necessary services are billed out-of-network.

Yes. Your care begins with a virtual consultation from home. Dr. Ives plans your surgery with 3D imaging that simulates your results. When you are ready, our team helps you schedule surgery and follow-up visits around your travel, so your time in Los Angeles fits your recovery plan.

Dr. Ives operates at two locations: a private, fully accredited ambulatory surgery center in Beverly Hills, used for most procedures, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Many procedures are done under twilight anesthesia, which is monitored anesthesia care with propofol. Your team helps you choose the setting that suits your procedure and your care needs.
